Live Now: The Pot Predicament: Is Marijuana Good Medicine

The panel includes a UF law professor who helped write the amendment; the Alachua County sheriff, who is critical of the amendment; a UF pharmacy professor, who also has concerns about medical marijuana; and a retired Air Force captain who has used medical marijuana for chronic pain. Gainesville Sun editorial page editor Nathan Crabbe will moderate. The event is brought to you by The Sun and UF’s Bob Graham Center for Public Service, with additional sponsorship from the League of Women Voters of Alachua County and Florida Blue Key. The program is also being supported by a grant from the Florida Campus Compact.
