Aaron F. Zahn is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for BCR Environmental Corporation and NuTerra™ Management, LLC. He is a recognized national leader of innovation in wastewater and organic waste technology. BCR and NuTerra clean technology and infrastructure companies focused on developing technologies and projects that converts organic waste into environmentally responsible products. BCR is the only company in 30 years to work with the U.S. EPA to develop and obtain national regulatory approval for two new technologies that convert human waste to recycled usable materials. NuTerra™ Management is a preeminent project development and services company for developing and operating organics waste recycling facilities and has completed $140+MM of public-private-partnerships in Florida.
BCR and NuTerra have received numerous excellence awards from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and have been ranked as one of the top 50 water companies in the world by the Artemis Water Tech Review.
Aaron has been a personal contributor to State leadership as prior Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development for the State of Florida on Governor-elect Rick Scott’s Transition Team, a participant in Connect Florida Statewide Leadership Institute Class IV, an active member of Young Presidents Organization of Florida, and advisor to Jacksonville’s Mayor Curry on Economic Development.
Prior to BCR Environmental, Aaron worked as an investment professional for two multi-strategy hedge funds in New York, NY. He was a Senior Manager of Capital Markets team at General Growth Properties playing a key role in $15+ billion of acquisitions and the requisite financing activities along with providing financial oversight for $200+ million of commercial real estate development.
Aaron is a graduate of Yale University, New Haven, CT and the Hawken School, Gates Mills, OH. He is a proud husband and father that enjoys exploring the natural resources of Florida with his family.
