The Alachua County Property Appraiser’s Office oversees property tax appraisal, property tax administration and, the analysis and dissemination of property-based information. More information on the role and responsibilities of the office can be found at http://www.acpafl.org/index.asp.
This internship will be focused on data analysis and statistical modeling. The intern would need to know statistics and have the ability to conduct regression analyses on market variables for valuation studies. The office is looking for an intern that can assist in creating mathematical models and test them for various studies.
The internship will run from Monday, October 23, 2017, to Friday, April 20, 2018. Students are expected to enroll in at least one (1) hour of internship credit during spring 2018.
Applications will be due by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017.
Interns will be paid $10 an hour, and will be expected to work 15 hours a week.
