The Alachua County Property Appraiser’s Office oversees property tax appraisal, property tax administration and, the analysis and dissemination of property-based information. More information on the role and responsibilities of the office can be found at http://www.acpafl.org/index.asp.
This internship will be focused on creating and organizing a cohesive public relations plan for the office to improve and grow communication with the general public. The intern should have basic website management, social media, writing and communication skills that can be implemented to improve the delivery of services and information.
The internship will run from Monday, October 23, 2017, to Friday, April 20, 2018. Students are expected to enroll in at least one (1) hour of internship credit during spring 2018.
Applications will be due by 5 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017.
Interns will be paid $10 an hour, and will be expected to work 15 hours a week.
