The City of Gainesville and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida offer an annual City of Gainesville Local Government Fellowship program. Students work part time (10 to 15 hours a week) during the fall and spring semesters of an entire academic year.
The summer internship program is a collaboration between the Florida Cooperative Extension Service and the Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida. Students participating in this paid internship will work with county Extension faculty to deliver educational programming throughout the state of Florida.

During the summer semester, interns will work in City and/or County Manager offices across the state of Florida in fields such as business/finance, engineering, landscape design, and public administration.
The Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida offers the Tallahassee Semester Internship program each spring term to coincide with Florida's legislative session. During the spring semester, the Center offers up to 15 internships throughout Florida government, including positions with the legislature, governor's office and executive branch agencies, the news media and various associations and lobbying organizations.
The Virtual Internship Program (VIP) Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida provides an innovative internship experience in the public sector that removes the barriers of the traditional, domestic internship experience, financial or otherwise.
